So, when nothing is planned in AP Gov for the sub, what else do I have to do but write a blog? I’ve been meaning to get one up earlier, but sometimes it’s hard with my schedule. Saturday I went to Mall of America with Mark. He needed new basketball shoes ‘n stuff, and I needed to complete my outfit for winter formal. That was pretty fun, and I ended up getting a $150 jacket at Hollister. Under normal circumstances I hate that store and the conformity it stands for, but this was a really cute jacket!!
I also got into two spots of trouble with my car last week, Wednesday and Thursday. The Wednesday incident was worse… I accidently went in the ditch. Though I suppose one does not purposefully drive into a snow filled embankment very often, no? Luckily my neighbors came and helped me out, so that was very nice of them. A guy who was just driving past also helped. My car and I were unhurt, so no permanent damage done. On Thursday I left my lights on. Oops. I was in a hurry to get into school because I was late, so it slipped my mind that they were even on. By the end of the day, my battery was out, but Kent gave me a jump because he had the equipment in his car. Another lucky save, but unfortunately I was late and missed an appointment in the city.
A new dilemna in my life is what job to get. I need an appropriate one, one that can support the lifestyle I like (fairly modest), and one that would keep me occupied. Standing someplace all day is not my idea of a job I would like. So I’ll be thinking about that, and anyone can feel free to give me suggestions. I also don’t do enough graphic work to start up my own web design business, unfortunately. Plus I realize I don’t have the discipline to be my own boss yet. Maybe I should join the army… haha, no.
And I know I had one other topic that I wanted to hit before I left off on this blog. It was possibly that I will be uploading Mexico pics soon to my PhotoGallery, so that’s cool. I also want to do a vBlog with Mark so it’s more wordly. Plus with my Mexico videos, I can make it a true global series :] I’ll dig up some Singapore/Korea videos and make that into a thing too. Ciao~
OH OH OH OH OH!!! I got my ZUNE ON MONDAY!! So yes, I got a Zune Originals one like I wanted, and it is amazing. I have a lot of stuff on it (pictures and videos), and obviously a lot to listen to. So that is really cool, and I’m glad I’m not just another iPod conformist <3
So tomorrow I’ll be going to Rochester with Mark to go shopping. That’ll only be for like 3 hours, then back home and drop him off. Then Katherine is going to come pick me up, and pick Mark up again, and we’ll hang out at her house…then we go to a concert at St. Pius church. The church concert was appended because Katherine had to go, but we’re also meeting Nina, the German exchange student. We went out for snacks after school at the Bakery today actually, which was cool. We discussed America and Germany.
Yeah, I’m looking forward to hanging out with friends. And in class today, the AP Comp sub didn’t come in until the last 15 minutes of class. She was on the 9th/10th grade schedule, so lunch overlapped 5th hour and she didn’t realize it, so it was cool. We all just were hanging out and hoping no teacher would notice we were teacher-less.
Yep. I’m pretty tired, so I’m getting off. I really should make a page about the people, both in America and previously in Japan that I talk with and hang out with. Hmmm.
EDIT: And I just broke 200 subscribers on YouTube. Yaaaay. Time for a small celebration. Here’s to 1,000~
